A magnificent century from national under-15 selectee Marvan Prashad and an outstanding all round performance from another national under-15 selectee Nigel Deodat led Blairmont Community Centre to a massive innings and 356 runs victory over the hapless Bush Lot New Generation in the latest round of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) Tenelec Inc Under-15, Two-innings Cricket Competition.
The match which was played at the Blairmont Community Centre ground saw the home team winning the toss and immediately took to the crease. At the declaration, the score was a mammoth 390 for 6 with Prashad leading the way with 120 with support from Deodat with 108. Other useful knocks came from another national under-15 selectee, opener Fawaz Gaffoor 68, Shahid Baksh 23 and Romel Ross 20.  Bowling for the visitors, R. Bhola and K. Evans took two wickets a piece for 68 and 74 runs respectively.
In reply, Bush Lot New Generation were bundled out for a disappointing 34. Left arm spinner Deodat came back with the ball to take 5 wickets for 9 runs off 5 overs and was supported admirably by Baksh who took 3 for 19 off 4 overs.
