Divine Entertainment releases Davy Marley’s “Whine for me”

Born Davlon Marley Richmond, he perused his passion for the art form in his teens and got his first major break two years ago when he set foot in Code Red Records which currently works with several recognised Guyanese artistes, both locally and internationally.
As persistence and destiny would have it, Davy Marley soon became a household name in the talent rich town. He performed at the Linden town and soon after got signed to Divine Entertainment’s Code Red Records label.
“Davy Marley and his music is an artistic reflection of life, it is like a mirror. What is being portrayed in my society and my experiences I release those energies through music,” the musician related.
Only recently, his music video “Whine for me” was released under great concern of content, due to its suggestive sexual connotations and major setbacks.
The song was composed off of GT Youths Situwaytion Riddim and was infused with mild reggae and dancehall which is sure to have its listeners bobbing or dancing.
Since its release, the song “Whine For Me” has received increased air play in Guyana, the Caribbean and the USA. The video since its release, has garnered a complied viewership of over 30,000 views in 24 hours.
As Marley continues on his journey, along with management, he intends on presenting to Guyana a new flavour to dancehall music, with much more to come.
