Duo charged with threatening language, behaviour granted bail

Alex Rowe, a 41-year-old labourer, and Romel Archer, a 21-year-old constable attached to Bosai Minerals Group Guyana Incorporated (BMGGI), were granted bail by Magistrate Clive Nurse on charges of making use of threatening behaviour.

The duo, both of Block 22 Squatting Area, Wismar, Linden, appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court accused of making use of threatening language and behaviour to Pamela Abrams, the Virtual Complainant (VC), on Wednesday, September 7 at the above mentioned area.

Both men pleaded not guilty to the charge and were granted $10,000 bail each.

Meanwhile, Rowe was charged separately with unlawfully making use of threatening language against the VC at the same address on Friday, August 12. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted $10,000 bail.

The men are scheduled to return to court on November 15.
