EBD man slapped with conspiracy charge

Twenty-five-year-old Corwin Estwick, also known as Timothy Estwick, was on Wednesday remanded to prison on a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony, when he appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrates’ Courts.
Estwick, of Peter’s Hall, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was charged in connection with the damaging of a car belonging to ex- cop, Teon Allen, also known as “Spoil Child”.
It is alleged that on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Estwick conspired along with other unknown persons to unlawfully and maliciously damage Allen’s car, PXX4598, at Amelia’s Ward, Mackenzie, Linden. The car is valued at $2.4 million. He was remanded to prison and the case will continue on November 14.
Only on Tuesday, one of the men who attempted kill Allen, known as “Spoil Child”, at East La Penitence, Georgetown was slapped with an attempted murder charge and appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Renard Caesar, 23, of Linden, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice) appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
Police stated that on October 5, 2019, at East La Penitence, Georgetown, with intent to commit murder, he discharged rounds at Allen.
Allen, himself, is currently before the court for discharging a loaded firearm with intent. He too appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune and was released on $50,000 bail.
