Entire 1st day of second round matches abandoned

GCB/Hand-in-Hand Insurance U-19 3-day inter-county

The entire first day of the second round of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/ Hand-In-Hand Insurance Under-19 Inter-County three-day tournament was abandoned due to wet outfields from overnight and early morning rains in the city.

The matches were scheduled to get underway at two venues at 10:00h. However, both grounds were affected by the rain.

The match is expected to get underway at 10:00h today, with reigning champions and favourites, Demerara, taking on the Under-17s at Everest Cricket Club Ground, while Berbice and Essequibo are set to battle at Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary.
