With two zonal legs already in the books, the focus of the Lotto/Let’sBet One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast moves to Essequibo this weekend, August 22 and 23. Sixteen teams loaded with talent are set to clash across four venues for a coveted spot in the National Finals on October 11.
The weekend action kicks off on Saturday, August 22, with opening fixtures spread across the Pomona Ground, Affiance Community Ground, Hampton Court Ground, and the Anna Regina National Stadium.
Match play begins at 10:30h with Aurora Knight Riders facing GT Warriors at Pomona, Riverstown taking on Fibreglass Gladiators at Affiance, Shawn’s Mini Mart playing Mabaruma All-Stars at Anna Regina, and Adventure Renegades going up against Northern Falcons at Hampton Court.
Subsequent morning and afternoon ties will decide the quarter-finalists, with the day concluding after the second-round clashes at 15:30h.

All roads then lead to the Anna Regina National Stadium on Sunday, August 23, where the action shifts entirely for the marquee matches.
Semi-final One bowls off at 14:30h, followed immediately by Semi-final Two at 16:30h. Ahead of the showpiece match, fans will enjoy an exhibition game between Trophy Stall Jaguars and Trophy Stall Eagles at 18:30h, setting the stage for the Zonal Final under lights at 20:00h.
In addition to playing for a place in the National Finals, teams will battle for substantial commercial prize packages thanks to a strong line-up of corporate backers.
The Essequibo Zone champions will claim a $500,000 first-place prize funded by Shawn’s Mini Mart. Jaigobin Hotel is sponsoring the $200,000 runner-up prize, along with $50,000 pay-outs for each losing semi-finalist.
Furthermore, Scoop Ride Inc. continues its tournament-wide support by providing $25,000 to each of the four losing quarter-finalists.
Admission is free to all grounds across both days, with a fully stocked bar, giveaways, and family entertainment planned to encourage local communities to come out in full support.
The Essequibo champions will earn their place alongside Berbice Zone winners Grillmaster Sip N Play All-Stars and East Bank/West Demerara Zone champions Mahdia (Movements Family).
After this weekend’s leg, the tournament will observe a scheduled hiatus for the closing stages of the Caribbean Premier League before resuming on September 26, for the Georgetown/East Coast Demerara Zone.
