ETS renews support for Lotto/Let’s Bet One Guyana T10 Tapeball

Environmental Technical Solutions Inc (ETS) has officially renewed its corporate commitment for the fourth consecutive season of the Lotto/Let’sBet One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast, adding further momentum to a tournament that has already delivered high-octane sporting action across the country.

Following an explosive opening leg in Berbice, the tournament now shifts its focus to the East Bank and West Demerara regions this weekend, where several of the nation’s premier tapeball outfits will battle for regional glory and a coveted spot in the National Finals.
“At ETS, we believe in supporting initiatives that bring communities together and empower local talent through sports,” said Seema Ramsoondar, Finance and Administrative Manager of ETS.
“The One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast has consistently elevated the standard of grassroots cricket, and we are proud to stand behind the tournament for another exciting season.”
Organisers have expressed profound appreciation for the corporate backing that keeps the competition thriving. “Having ETS on board for a fourth year is a testament to the growing prestige and impact of this tournament,” noted One Guyana T10 representative Yusuf Ali, “the energy in Berbice set a remarkably high standard, and with the calibre of teams locked in for the East Bank and West Demerara leg, fans are in for an unforgettable weekend.”
The high bar for competition was established in New Amsterdam, where Grillmaster Sip N Play All-Stars delivered a masterclass performance to become the tournament’s first official qualifiers for the National Finals.
In addition to securing the GY$500,000 top zone prize courtesy of Sawa Investment, Sip N Play reserved their ticket to the grand showcase scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at the Anna Regina National Stadium.
There, they will compete for an eye-watering top prize of GY$2 million, with GY$1 million and GY$500,000 allocated for second- and third-place finishers, respectively.
This weekend’s winner will earn the right to join Sip N Play in that national finale, with substantial cash incentives also on the line for regional high performers.
The East Bank/West Demerara zone runners-up will pocket GY$200,000, funded by businessman Mohamad Shairaz Roshandin, while losing semi-finalists will receive GY$50,000 each, courtesy of Camile’s Academy.
Furthermore, every losing quarter-finalist will receive GY$25,000 through the support of Scoop Ride Inc.
The stage is set for intense competition, with defending zone champions Eccles All-Stars and Mahdia Movements Family drawn into a demanding line-up, alongside established heavyweights like Village Rams, Airport SVC, and promising new contenders.
The action commences on Saturday, August 15, across four venues with free admission to the public. Farm Ground opens at 10:00h with Soesdyke XI facing Laluni Sports Club, followed by The Elite Conquerors against Eccles All-Stars. At Goed Fortuin Ground, Village Rams clash with Brave Heart before Team Eastsyde take on Vintage All Stars.
Meten-Meer-Zorg Ground is to host Knight Riders against Young Steppaz, alongside Young Guns versus Airport SVC, while Uitvlugt Ground will see Hyde Park battle Trendsetter before Zeelugt Sports Club face Mahdia (Movements Family).
The winners of each venue will advance to the afternoon quarter-finals to secure a spot in Sunday’s final four. All eyes will then turn to Meten-Meer-Zorg Ground on Sunday, August 16, where the semi-finals will take place at 10:00h and 12:00h , culminating in the regional final at 15:00h to crown the Zone Champions.
Following the crowning of the East Bank and West Demerara champions, the T10 caravan will head to the Essequibo Zone from August 22–23, concluding with the zone finals on Sunday, August 23, at the Anna Regina National Stadium.
