An ex-convict is now nursing an injury to his right-side hip after he was shot on Sunday by someone whom he had met while serving time at the Lusignan Prison.
The shooting incident reportedly took place at Sparendaam Squatting Area, East Coast Demerara (ECD), as the victim was on his way to the gambling shop.
The injured man was identified as 33-year-old Rawle Franklyn also called “Rawle Dog” of Sparendaam Housing Scheme, ECD.
