ExxonMobil, Tanks-A-Lot donate school supplies to Lusignan Primary
More than 100 students of the Lusignan Primary School benefited from a donation made by an American-based company and contractor of ExxonMobil (Guyana) on Tuesday.
Tanks-A-Lot Inc has been the sole distributor of oil and gas tanks to ExxonMobil for a number of years.
According to President of the company AJ Cannata, the company in itself is thankful to work with Guyana and therefore saw it fitting to give back to the youths of the community.
“We appreciate the opportunity to work with the community… and as a result we want to give back to these students. We chose the Lusignan Primary because one of our employees, Jai Kissoon, attended this very school and as such we would want to make an impact in these children’s lives,” Cannata said.
ExxonMobil Communications Advisor, Nickolas Yearwood noted that ExxonMobil is very pleased with this initiative and hopes other companies will come on board.
“ExxonMobil Guyana is very proud to work with contractors like Tanks-A-Lot who chose to give back to the Guyanese communities and we are very happy to participate in this activity and we welcome these initiatives.”
Tanks-A-Lot Inc was formed in May 1995 for the purposes of serving the offshore oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico.
The company has evolved to become a leading provider of Cargo Carrying Units in the Gulf of Mexico and abroad with a diverse fleet and dedicated staff that can provide units for any material handling application in the offshore environment.
