At a simple press conference, Taylor noted that her team have been doing very well in training. She related that while the temperature was a bit extreme, they worked to select the best possible XI. “I find we have a good bunch of players, it’s probably going to be hard to select an XI,” Taylor posited.
As it pertains to what the feeling is like about the highly-anticipated tournament, Taylor said, “I think at World Cup, it’s probably a bit more intense and here is a bit more relaxed. It’s not just about us as top players, but getting other players involved. So, I think that’s really exciting.”
As it relates to what the Tornadoes bring to the table, Taylor explained that her team were quite interesting. She was confident that Diana Baig of Pakistan would definitely bring the vibe to the team. Other than that, she related that the girls were a bit quiet; however, with the necessary work they were trying to get them a bit out of their shell and try not to impose too much. Taylor was also optimistic that her team were a good bunch, and it was very vibey and more than anything, they were looking forward to the tournament.
