Classmates, teachers, parents and supporters flooded the Ministry of Education Ground in droves on Saturday as the Under 14 footballers prepared to put on a thrilling show, as usual.
Another 12 games were completed in the male round robin segment, while the female players continued their training and exhibition games which are being supervised by members of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF). The action continues this Saturday with the round robin segment, and the females are expected to kick start their games.

Carmel Secondary had a great outing, administering a 5-0 defeat to a weak School of the Nations side; Chase’s Academy followed suit with a 4-0 thumping of the Brickdam Secondary; and in a match that could have gone either way, Dolphin Secondary managed to get away from Queenstown Secondary with a 4-1 win. But one of the highlights of the day came when Annandale Secondary trounced Kingston 7-2.
In an expected thriller, Friendship and Tucville Secondary went back and forth with the goals, until Friendship eventually got the better of the encounter and emerged with 4-3 win.
Uitvlugt Secondary, Vergenogen Secondary, St. John’s College, South Ruimveldt Secondary and Tutorial Secondary were all in the winner’s row on Saturday with the remaining matches resulting in a draw.
