The Meten-Meer-Zorg Future Youths cricket club will on Sunday, December 22, host the Zeeburg Cricket Club, Mc Gill Sports Club and West Coast Warriors in a 10/10 fund-raising cricket tournament which commences at 9:15 hrs.

Travis Persaud will also be playing in this charitable match

Proceeds from this event will go to the charitable cause of raising funds to help cover medical expenses for a close family member of a West Meten-Meer-Zorg cricket club player.
Former club president Troy Khan has said he is aware of the condition of the affected individual, and is appealing to members organizing this event, as well as all former club members and current players, to please make any contribution they can. He has said they can visit the club, or make contact with club captain Jermain Maxwell on Tel #677-8393, or Rabindra Dasrat on 691-4038, in regard to contributing towards the cause.
The club will also be holding a BBQ on the same day, and all proceeds generated therefrom will be directed towards this cause.
Odyssey Sightseeing Tours has donated two (2) tickets (day tours) in aid of the same cause. BBQ ticket holders are asked to write their names and contact numbers on the backs of their tickets for a chance to win one of these day-tour tickets to an exciting trip.

Meten-Meer-Zorg Future Youths, who will be led by the impressive all-rounder Jermain Maxwell, would include the in-form Sheldon Alexander and Tevin Imlac.
