The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power returned to the Tucville ground on Saturday as part the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) matches and Fruta Conquerors were the star team on the day.
The home side brushed aside Order & Discipline 8-0 via doubles from Rushan Richie, Nicholas McArthur and Jermaine Garrett; elder brother Jeremy Garrett and Richard Rayside were also on the score sheet with a goal each.

In the earlier matches, Georgetown Football Club (GFC) defeated Alpha United 2-0, with Jermaine Paymo and Romel Hutson netting goals in the 8th 21st and 21st respectively.
Santos FC were also victorious, as they trounced Pele FC 3-0 thanks a goals by Ryan Dowden (11th and 16th) and Nazeer Algermon (40th); the other matches slated to play saw Eastveldt winning via walkover from Campton FC.
Over in the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA), Buxton United, Mahaica Determinators and Ann’s Grove secured thumping victories. Playing at the Golden Grove ground, Buxton United hammered Golden Stars 5-0.
Tironi Semple registered a second half hat-trick in the 68th, 72nd and 75th. Contributing goals in the 25th and 55th minute were Joshua Liverpool and Kobe Durant in the 25th and 55th minute respectively.
On the other hand, Mahaica Determinators downed Bachelor’s Adventure and Paradise by a 3-0 margin. Orland Adams recorded a double in the 20th and 25th minute. Assisting with a 60th minute effort was Rickford Profitt. Meanwhile, Ann’s Grove dismantled lowly Buxton Youth Developers by a 4-0 score line.
Maurice Adams bagged a brace in the 42nd and 44th minute while Yohance France scored twice in the 50th and 52nd minute.
