Ganja found after man tosses bag through window

Police are investigating the discovery of a quantity of cannabis found on Monday at One Mile, Itaballi, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni).

Acting on information received, ranks visited the residence and shop at about 11:00h of a self-employed man of One Mile, Itaballi.
Upon arrival, the officers made contact with the suspect at his shop and during the exercise, the man allegedly picked up a black plastic bag from under a counter and threw it through a window. The bag was retrieved by ranks and it contained leaves, seeds, and stems. The suspect was arrested and escorted to the Itaballi Check Point along with the narcotics. The substance was weighed in his presence and amounted to 92 grams. He remains in custody pending charges.
