GBTI rewards Ali for one-hand CPL catch

One magical one-handed catch on the boundary and almost overnight, Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) Youth Cricketer has been a superstar.

The youngster, on Wednesday night, whilst performing ball-boy duties at the clash between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Lucia Kings, pulled off a stunning grab off Quentin Sampson’s batting beyond the boundary, which has caught the eyes of the entire region.
The Guyana Bank For Trade and Industry (GBTI) wasted no time, rewarding the young leg-spinner for his efforts.
In a social media post on Thursday, GBTI shared, “Look who dropped by today!
Guyana’s young cricket star, Wazim Ali, paid a special visit to our Head Office today, where he was presented with a bat of his choice and a Mutual Fund Certificate to help him invest and grow his future, both on and off the field.
