The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) continued its investment in local coaching development on Wednesday with the start of Block Two of its Second Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) C-Licence Coaching Course at the National Training Centre in Providence.

The three-day programme, which concluded on Friday, was led by three Coach Educators: Technical Director Bryan Joseph, Head of Coach Education Linsworth Gilbert, and Technical Development Officer Lyndon France.
The session combined both theoretical and practical components as participants were exposed to various aspects of modern football coaching and player development.

Eight coaches took part in the latest block of the course, including several current and former national team players. Their participation highlighted the federation’s continued effort to improve coaching standards while strengthening the grassroots and developmental levels of football across Guyana.
The CONCACAF C-Licence programme forms part of the federation’s wider technical development strategy aimed at producing more qualified coaches capable of guiding players at the youth and community levels.
