The East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) and Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Under-15 Youth Ensemble Tournament second round continued in emphatic fashion on Sunday, May 23, 2026, at the Victoria Ground, East Coast Demerara (ECD), with fans treated to a remarkable display of attacking football across five exciting encounters.
Ann’s Grove United delivered a dominant performance in the opening round, crushing Mahaicony Western Lions 14-0 in Game One. Ezekiel George led the charge with an outstanding five-goal haul, while Ronoko Morris added a hat-trick. Quashaun Hart netted twice, and single strikes came from Quashaun Campbell, Jeremy Fordyce, Anthony Hall, and Kemani Chapman as Ann’s Grove announced themselves as early title contenders.
In Game Two, BV Triumph United secured a commanding 8-0 victory over Golden Stars FC. Xavier Todd and Mark Glasgow each scored braces, while Lamar Campbell and Deon Benn also found the back of the net, with Benn contributing two goals. Golden Stars’ misery was compounded by an own goal from Owen Josiah.

Buxton All Stars produced another overwhelming performance in Game Three, dismantling Haslington United FC 16-0 in the tournament’s largest margin of victory so far. Joel Stephen stole the spotlight with an impressive six-goal performance, while Shakeil Callender added four. Yao Roberts and Allan Mc Kay each scored twice, with Malachi Jarvis and Malick Sobers also getting on the scoresheet in a ruthless attacking display.

Game Four proved to be more competitive, but Mahaica Determinators emerged with a solid 2-0 victory over Plaisance FC, thanks to a brace from Kaheim Henry.
The final match of the day saw Melanie FC cruise to an 8-0 triumph against Victoria Kings. Trevor De Jonge led the way with a hat-trick, while Le Bron Semple contributed two goals. Anthony Rodney, Alberto Milano, and Jaheem Nicholson each added one goal to complete another convincing win.
The day’s proceedings produced an incredible 48 goals across five matches, highlighting the exciting attacking talent on display in East Demerara’s youth football ranks. Supporters can now look forward to another thrilling round of matches as the young footballers continue their quest for tournament glory next weekend.
