After twelve years of participation in the GPF’s Inter-Division Domino Competition, Regional Division 4’C’ Males have put on a spectacular performance to tally 78 games and be crowned champions, last evening (Friday May 13th) at the Police Sports Club in Eve Leary, Georgetown.
Superintendent Alastair Roberts and Assistant Superintendent Jermaine Dufu marshalled the team to their championship for Division 4’C’.
Regional Division 4’B’ placed second with 70 games, and a superb display came from the most valuable player (MVP), Corporal Chrison Griffith, who scored the maximum 18 games and shared the first ‘love’ of the competition.
Police Headquarters ended in third position with 65 games.
In the fiercely contested Females category, Police Headquarters defeated Regional Division 4’B’ and Regional Division #7 after amassing 83 games.
Regional Division 4’B’ had 73 games, while Regional Division #7 finished with 70 games. Sergeant Sharie Marshall from Police Headquarters was also MVP with 18 games, and she shared the first love. (GPF)
