The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has confirmed that the national men’s team, the Green Machine, will contest two upcoming international test matches as part of its 2026 schedule.
Guyana will first host Bermuda on April 25 at the Rugby Field in the National Park, Thomas Lands. The team will then travel to Barbados for their second engagement, facing the hosts on June 6 at Garrison Park in Bridgetown.

The fixtures come as Guyana look to continue their rebuilding phase in international competition. In their last outing against Barbados, the Green Machine suffered a 5-43 defeat in a Rugby Americas North Championship (RAN) encounter at Garrison Savannah in Bridgetown. That result followed an earlier setback at home, where they went down 48-17 to the Cayman Islands on April 26, 2025, at the National Park.
As preparations intensify for the upcoming series, the GRFU has scheduled trial matches for Saturday, April 18, at the National Park. These sessions are expected to assist selectors in finalising the squad ahead of the Bermuda test.
