Group 2 to bring the trills at South Dakota

The day motor racing fans have been awaiting has arrived with the National Race of Champions taking centre stage at the South Dakota Circuit today.
The cusp of the action should come in Group 2 with as defending champion Chet Singh looking to keep his crown but he will be challenged the likes of Shan Seejattan, Rameez Mohamed, Nazrudeen Mohamed, Haniff Mohamed and Shairaz Roshandin and others who are going to try to ensure that they have championship shots.

Based on information surfacing, Danny Persaud is ready to seek glory atop the Group Three standings but knows Stefan Jeffery and Vishok Persaud are reputable challengers.
Over in the Starlet Cup, The defending champion is Motilall Deodas having swept the competition last year. Deodas’ two main threats are expected to be Anand Ramchand and Rameez Mohamed.
For the two-wheel category it will be a straight fight with Raverio Tucker and Mathew Vieira. Lots will be at stake since Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club President Ramez Mohammed had stated “the top four” will earn a spot on the country’s Caribbean Motor Racing Championship team.
The 21-race programme of events which is sponsored by Mohamed’s Enterprise, STAG and Tropical Shipping, begins at 10:00 hrs.
