Grovesnor to host archery session on Thursday

International archer, Dwayne Grovesnor is in Guyana on a personal visit and has agreed to have an interactive session with Archery Guyana members and prospective members on Thursday at the National Gymnasium.
The invitation was extended to Grovesnor, who was born in Guyana but currently lives in Barbados, from Chairman of Archery Guyana Nicholas Hing when Grovesnor paid him a courtesy call on Tuesday.

Hing told Guyana Times Sport that they (Archery Guyana) will take the opportunity to utilize the expertise of Grovesnor whom he noted is always willing to assist even at short notice.
“We are always delighted to collaborate with other archery associations. There’s a certain camaraderie among archers from all over the world and we are no different. World Archery Barbados has been very helpful and supportive towards Archery Guyana and our local archers have and will continue to benefit from any and all assistance from them. Dwayne is a Level two archery coach as would have been mentioned in previous articles, and is willing to share his knowledge and give assistance whenever he is here in Guyana.”
The session on Thursday begins at 17:00h and is open to the general public.
