GSSF strengthen partnership with the Guyana Police Force

Directors of the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) have held a successful meeting with Guyana Police Force Assistant Commissioner of Operations, Clifton Hicken, at Police Headquarters, Eve Leary.

Led by local sharpshooter and GSSF President Ryan McKinnon, the executives of the foundation paid the visit to Hicken, Senior Supt. Thomas, Senior Supt. Watts, and OC of the TSU, Withrithe.

Discussions were geared towards mapping out future plans between the GSSF and the GPF. Plans for the future, along with an update of the progress of the GSSF and its programmes thus far, were discussed among other areas of mutual interest.

The Foundation’s executives also reached out to the Force for a more supporting role in assisting with GSSF’s steel challenge shooting as a sport on the GPF sports calendar.
The Foundation had met with members of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) a month ago to discuss similar plans for the year 2018.
