The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has recently launched its new and improved MyGTT app with the aim of making it easier for GTT customers to do business with the company.
The MyGTT app provides customers with 24-hour access to their GTT accounts from anywhere and at any time. Through the new app, GTT customers can view and download their current and previous bills with ease, manage multiple accounts with one view, and pay bills using Visa/MasterCard, among other key features.
Friday, April 23, marks two weeks since the new and improved app has been on the market, and performance has been better than expected.
GTT’s Demand Generation Manager Tiffany Moonsammy has said, “We were very excited about the launch of this new app. Our local team worked with our international parent company to help improve our old app to make our customers’ lives even easier.”
She added, “In the first two weeks, we saw 4,000 users download and start to use the new MyGTT app. All (are) fully satisfied with the new improvements made. This is a 34% increase than what we originally projected.”
Some of the new features include a faster registration process, a ‘Pay All My Bills’ option, a ‘Lend Me’ feature, the tracking of data usage with a fixed LTE plan, and the ability to apply for service or request support; all available through your device.
In addition, those payments can be made with the newly integrated MMG+ feature. MMG+ is a secure, convenient, and easy-to-use payment option. To have MMG+ now integrated with the MyGTT app is a development that brings an additional layer of ease-of-use to the customer.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the growing need for effective digital transactions, this app is well positioned to meet both needs.
GTT will be phasing out the old app on the market, and would be offering only the new MyGTT app. Customers can download the MyGTT app on App Store and Google Play Store to get the registration process underway.
