Hamid Foundation U-23 basketball continues tonight

Kwakwani face Royals, Raiders meet Pistons

Day two of the Linden Amateur Basketball Foundation (LABA)/ Hamid Foundation Under 23 basketball championship will see Kwakwani and Christianburg Pistons making their debuts tonight at this level in separate encounters.

At the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court at 18.30h the first game of the double header pits Kwakwani against the number two ranked Victory Valley Royals, in this eight team championship. In the second game Christianburg Pistons will face the fourth ranked Retrieve Raiders in an evening of high expectations.

The teams are group in two with group A having top ranked half Mile Bulls, fourth ranked retrieve Raiders, Pistons and Bock 22 Flames while in group B are second seed Royals, third ranked Amelia’s ward jets, Christianburg Pistons Bankers Trust Falcons.

The championship will continue next Friday where two more matches are set for the MSC hard court with game one bringing together Bulls and Pistons and game two is between Jets and Royals.
