Improvised weapons unearthed during prison raid

A search of the Georgetown Holding Bay and the Lusignan Prison carried out by ranks of the Joint Services has led to the discovery of a number of contraband items, including improvised weapons.

Items found during the prison raid

The search was conducted on Wednesday between 07:00h and 10:0h. Items found in Holding Bay One were 25 improvised weapons, eight lighters, two cellphones, a quantity of Ziplock bags, two metal objects, and two cellphone cases.
Items found in Holding Bay Two were 14 improvised weapons, five charger heads, seven lighters, three scissors, a quantity of Ziplock bags, one cellphone, one cellphone housing, two cellphone batteries, one cellphone charger, a quantity of wires, ten small transparent Ziplock bags of suspected cannabis amounting to three grams, and two metal objects.
Items found in Holding Bays Three and Four were a small quantity of homemade wine, 12 improvised weapons, 14 lighters, two scissors, one cellphone charger, one cellphone cable, a quantity of wires, and one small transparent Ziplock bag of what is suspected to be cannabis amounting to half a gram.
