Trinidad and Tobago Red Force bowlers combined to effect seven dismissals between them so far as seven wickets fell on day two for Guyana Jaguars, who have a slim 44 runs lead heading into the third day at the Queen’s Park Oval.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul’s replacement, Assad Fudadin hit 57 before he was caught and bowled by Charles while Raymon Reifer continues to enjoy an outstanding all-round run this season with an unbeaten even 50. Night watchman Devendra Bishoo scored 39 while there were starts for Vishaul Singh 22 and Veerasammy Permaul 24.

Richards have so far claimed figures of 4-34 from 20 overs while Charles captured 3-70. The other wicket taker is left arm orthodox spinner Khary Pierre.

Jaguars are currently 246-8 from 100 overs replying to Red Force first innings total of 202 all out.

Meanwhile, Barbados Pride are eying a third day victory if they could take the remaining five Windward Volcanoes’ wickets early on day three. Volcanoes are currently struggling at 34-5 with a lead of a mere three runs.

Pride scored 324 all out on day two replying to 293 made by the Volcanoes in their first innings. Skipper Kevin Stoute top scored with 61 while Sherman Lewis and Shane Shillingford claimed three wickets apiece.

Miguel Cummins and Roston Chase have caused disaster for the Volcanoes’ batsmen so far in their second innings, collecting three and two wickets respectively.
