Cyclists from across Guyana are being invited to compete in the second Keep Fit Race on Sunday, July 19, at the inner circuit of the National Park.
The event, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00h, is being organised through a community initiative led by Alex Mendes of the Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycle Club (KARCC). It is aimed at promoting physical fitness while providing cyclists with another opportunity for competitive racing.

One open race will be contested, with riders from all categories competing together across 30 laps. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first six cyclists to cross the finish line.
Organisers have asked all participants to arrive at the venue before 10:00h. to complete the registration process.
The early arrival of competitors is expected to allow the race to begin promptly at the advertised start time.
The Keep Fit initiative continues to provide local riders with additional racing opportunities while encouraging members of the public to become more active through cycling.
