Kuru Kururu sweep EBFA Youth Ensemble titles

The Kuru Kururu Football Club (FC) completed a successful campaign in the East Bank Football Association’s (EBFA) leg of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Youth Ensemble Programme by winning both the Under-13 and Under-15 titles.
The victories secured Kuru Kururu places in the National Championship in both age groups. Under-13 runners-up Timehri United FC and Under-15 runners-up Friendship All Stars FC also qualified for the national competition.
The Under-15 tournament featured 27 matches, with 127 young footballers participating and 96 goals scored.

Brandon Bruce was named the Most Valuable Player, while Khadil Jaden Harry received the Best Goalkeeper award after conceding seven goals during the competition.
Kuru Kururu’s Teshawn Castillo led the scoring charts with 11 goals to claim the Golden Boot.
In the Under-13 division, 48 players competed across nine matches, with a total of 34 goals scored.
Okel Morrison was named the division’s Most Valuable Player, while Dokari Robertson earned the Best Goalkeeper award after allowing only four goals.
The Golden Boot was shared by Kuru Kururu’s Immanuel Reid and Timehri United’s Jeremiah Straut, who both finished with four goals.
