Kwakwani midwife found dead in home

A nurse/midwife attached to the Kwakwani Hospital in Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice) was found dead in her home on Friday morning.
Dead is 37-year-old Paulette Wade of the riverain community.
According to information reaching Guyana Times, the woman’s motionless body was discovered by her seven-year-old daughter, who then informed staffers at the

hospital. The hospital staffers immediately rushed to the scene and discovered the woman’s lifeless body.
The Police have since said they are investigating the incident but have discovered no signs of forced entry nor any marks of violence on Wade’s body. It is unclear what caused Wade’s death as her medical history is being investigated.
Left to mourn are Wade’s two children along with her husband, who is away on a work trip in the interior. The woman was described as being helpful and a “generally nice person.”
