Lake Mainstay 9th annual Car & Bike Show and After Party for March 31

The 9th edition of the Lake Mainstay Car and Bike Show is billed for March 31 at the resort and for those who have seen the previous years, the 2018 edition is expected to be epic. The event has drawn lots of support over the years, thus making it a signature event on the calendar of activities for Lake Mainstay Resort.
This year, the car and bike competition will be conducted in several categories including Overall, Extreme, Audio Internal, Audio External and Artwork. Cars, bikes and SUV vehicles will be competing for best sounds – both external and internal; loudest sounds; best artwork, among other categories.
The registration fee for each category will be $4000 and the forms can be uplifted at Lake Mainstay Resort Offices, Georgetown and Essequibo; Gutty’s Variety Stall, Charity, Essequibo Coast; G&P Jaigobin & Sons Supermarket, Henrietta, Essequibo Coast; Cellular Plus Store, Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast; Anil Cellphone Store, Anna Regina Market, Essequibo Coast; Derick Photocopy Shop, Anna Regina Post Office, Essequibo Coast and Universal Pharmacy, Suddie, Essequibo Coast.

Over $1 million in cash prizes will be up for grabs as well as trophies. However, after the presentation of trophies and prizes, the party will begin with Pream’s Mega Sounds.
Admission to the event cost $1000 for adults and $500 for children. The competition gets underway at 18:00h but gates will be opened at 16:00h.
