Countless cricket lovers flocked the Caribbean Premier league (CPL) ticketing offices across the country to get their hands on tickets for the biggest party in sports.
People from all walks of life braved the weather to grab their ticket to join the fun in the biggest party in sport where they waited in the line for as much as one hour.
After purchasing tickets, the cricket crazy fans took the opportunity to shop in the Guyana Amazon Warriors Merchandise store which is located in the central ticket location at lot 238 Camp and Quamina Streets, Georgetown.
With a capacity of 15,000 the early prediction pits Guyana as having the largest turnout of spectators and the loudest party of the tournament.
Already tickets for Sunday’s match has been sold out.
Tickets are available across all three counties.
The Guyana leg begins tonight with the Amazon Warriors facing the Jamaica Tallawahs at 19:00 hrs.
Saturday July 7, the Amazon Warriors play the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots at 12:00 hrs
Sunday July 9, the Amazon Warriors renew their rivalry with Trinbago Knight Riders at 19:00 hrs
The Guyana leg closes on Tuesday when the Amazon Warriors face the St. Lucia Zouks at 19:00hrs
