Leonora faces Belladrum in Courts Optical Pee Wee second round

Defending champions Leonora Primary will face Belladrum on Saturday as the Courts Optical Boys’ Under-11 Pee Wee football competition continues with 12 second-round matches at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Play begins at noon, with Leonora scheduled for 14:00h. The champions opened with a 3–0 win over Soesdyke, led by a Jonathan Melville hat-trick, while Belladrum lost 1–0 to St Gabriel.
St John will also seek another victory when they meet St Pius at noon. The Region Seven school won the opening match past before beating Queenstown 6–0, with Elliana Grant scoring three goals. St Pius began with a 1–1 draw against Colaaco.
The other noon fixtures are Tucville against Potaro and Goedfortuin against Redeemer. Goed Fortuin lost 3–1 to Pakuri on opening day, while Redeemer drew 0–0 with Agatash.

At 13:00h, FE Pollard faces St Aloysius, Ann’s Grove meets Therese’s, and Colaaco plays Queenstown.
Ann’s Grove will be looking to recover from a 9–0 defeat by Santa Rosa Primary, the biggest win of the opening round. Ethan Richards scored four goals, and Kenyano Austin added two.
FE Pollard and St Aloysius also lost their opening matches, going down 1–0 to GIA 2 and 3–0 to West Ruimveldt respectively.
Joining Leonora and Belladrum in the 14:00h slot are St Gabriel’s against Soesdyke and GIA 1 against St Stephen’s. GIA began with a 2–1 win over Stella Maris, thanks to two goals from Caleb Tan.
The final matches start at 15:00h, with Marian Academy facing Stella Maris, West Primary meeting GIA 2, and Genesis taking on Plaisance Orphanage.
Marian Academy opened with a 3–0 victory over St Stephen’s, while Genesis lost 2–0 to Waramuri.
