Lethem man arrested for illegal gun, ammo

Police in F Division (Interior Locations) have arrested a Lethem resident after an unlicensed firearm, along with matching ammunition, was found in his home.
According to reports, acting on information received, the ranks went to the Tabatinga, Lethem home of the 34-year-old suspect on Sunday around 09:30h and conducted a search.
During the exercise, they unearthed a shotgun and three live cartridges in his home. The suspect has since been arrested and is being processed for court.
