Linden labourer chopped during altercation with man

A chopping incident has left 28-year-old Morvin Somersol of Wismar Housing Scheme, Linden, receiving medical attention at the Linden Hospital Complex.
He sustained several chops to his right forearm during an altercation with another man at approximately 20:30h on Thursday evening at Canvas City, Wismar, Linden.
According to information received, the victim reportedly borrowed a freezer from the suspect to conduct business back in April. The suspect is said to have requested to have the freezer returned sometime last month, however, Somersol refused to do so.
It is also alleged that Somersol went to the suspect’s home and damaged several louvre panes.
As a result, the two men reportedly got into an altercation on Thursday evening.
Following the incident, Somersol was rushed to the hospital where he was admitted, treated and remains a patient in stable condition.
