Home News Linden man remanded on burglary charge
A 33-year-old labourer of 126 First Alley, Wismar, Linden, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice) was remanded to prison on a burglary charge when he appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune on Tuesday at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
Algrande Lyte also known as “Charles Lyte,” pleaded not guilty to the charge which was laid contrary to Section 233 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 08:01.
He allegedly committed the offence on April 28, 2021, on a 52-year-old driver of Amelia’s Ward, Linden. Lyte’s next court date is February 21.
