A man of Redwood Crescent, Mackenzie, Linden, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice) appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond Magistrates’ Court on Friday, where he faced charges of possession of a firearm and ammunition without a licence.
Dukquan Rose, 30, was charged under Section 16(2)(a) of the Firearms Act, Chapter 16:05, relates to an alleged incident that occurred on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Rose pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison. The case has been adjourned to December 16.
