Linden Town Week comes to a climax this weekend

This weekend, the action continues in the mining town of Linden, with the hosting of the annual Linden Town Week (LTW) event.

The event’s calendar is packed with a wide range of entertainment activities to choose from.

Tody, the communities of Silvercity and Victory Valley will come alive with a village day which will be hosted at Silvercity, Wismar from 10:00h. Then, later on in the day, the Versace Boyz Biker Fest will be held from 15:00h and the TC Ice Cream Road Jam from 20:00h – both events being hosted on Burnham Drive, Wismar.

Also on Friday evening, reggae fans can come out and enjoy ‘Reggae on the River’ at the Wismar Market Square from 20:00h.

Meanwhile, the annual Poker Street Lime and the LTW Colour Party (camouflage) are also on, with the latter being hosted at the Christianburg Hard Court, Wismar from 20:00h.

On Saturday, the Linden Museum presents its storytelling activity on location from 14:00h.

The Linden Trade Fair and Exhibition is also on at the Linden Technical Institute (LTI) from 10:00h, while the Caribbean Food Festival is on from 16:00h at Upper Republic Avenue, Mackenzie.

In the evening, the party vibes continue as Vybz Entertainment presents its All Black Party at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Ground from 20:00h.

On Sunday, Banks Village is on at the Wisroc/Amelia’s Ward bus park. The Linden River Wall will also be jamming with the XTra Beer Village.

ANSA McAL will also present its village celebration at the Linden- Georgetown bus park. These events are slated to commence at 20:00h.

In addition, form Sunday midnight to 11:00h on Monday; it’s Sunrise Breakfast at the Mackenzie High School hard court.

Also later on Monday evening, the international concert is on at the MSC Ground from 20:00. The activities culminate on Tuesday with the annual ‘Wash Down’ at the Mackenzie pool from 19:00h.
