Lindener gets 1 year for assaulting woman

A Linden man was on Wednesday last jailed for one year by Magistrate Wanda Fortune after he was found guilty of assault, causing actual bodily harm.
The sentence was handed down to the defendant, Dexter Thompson, when he appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s court.
The court heard that on Tuesday, May 28, Thompson assaulted Onika Sampson at Andyville, Blueberry Hill, Wismar, Linden.
