Home Affairs Ministry employee fired after assaulting female gas station attendant

An employee of the Home Affairs Ministry has been fired following an assault on a young female service station attendant, which was captured on camera.
This was confirmed by Subject Minister, Oneidge Walrond who stated that the employee, Andika Ferrier was terminated from his position at the Ministry after he was arrested in connection with the incident.

Fired: Andika Ferrier

Ferrier was reportedly arrested shortly after the assault and later released on station bail after being informed of the intended prosecution. He is expected to face criminal charges early next week.
The incident occurred after Ferrier reportedly purchased several cylinders of cooking gas from the station.
According to the victim, Ashley Ramascindo from Kuru Kururu Squatting Area, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, she assisted Ferrier with his purchase but refused to help him load the cylinders onto his truck. She said that after she walked away, Ferrier slapped her, causing her to fall.
Ramascindo sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital after reportedly losing consciousness briefly following the assault. The incident has reportedly left her traumatised.
The assault was captured on surveillance footage, which subsequently led to Ferrier’s arrest and the disciplinary action against him by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
