Linden’s Summer Super Cup… Grand finale beckons as Capital FC meets Milerock

Capital Football Club (FC) and Milerock FC will battle for championship honours when the 2026 Summer Super Cup reaches its grand finale on Saturday, August 29, at the Bayroc National Stadium.
The eagerly anticipated final will headline a packed day of football in Linden, with Capital FC looking to cap a strong campaign by lifting the coveted Summer Super Cup trophy, while Milerock FC will be determined to complete its run with a championship victory.
Milerock booked its place in the final with a narrow victory over Pdey Stars FC, courtesy of an early strike from Tyrese Lewis. Capital FC, meanwhile, advanced following a dramatic semi-final against Botofago FC, which ended 0-0 in regulation time before Capital was eventually awarded the victory after a late incident brought the match to an abrupt halt.
The final promises an intriguing clash between two sides that have negotiated their way through a competitive tournament and will now have everything to play for.
The day’s programme will also feature the third-place playoff between Botofago FC and Pdey Stars FC. Both teams will be hoping to end their respective campaigns on a positive note after missing out on a place in the championship match.
Adding further attraction to the grand finale will be an exhibition encounter between Beacon Masters and Linden Masters.
Organised in collaboration with Divine Entertainment and Capital FC, the event is expected to provide a full day of football entertainment. The organisers have advertised easy admission and secured parking, along with a well-stocked bar and food for patrons.
Football fans in Linden and surrounding communities are therefore expected to turn out in numbers for Saturday’s decisive fixtures, as Capital FC and Milerock FC vie for Summer Super Cup glory.
