Lodge resident remanded for ganja trafficking

Colin Wallis of Lot 34 Durban Street, Lodge was remanded to prison by Magistrate Leron Daly after he allegedly was found with one kilogram, 734 grams of cannabis.
Police Prosecutor Richard Harris is contending that Police ranks, acting on information culled from an intelligence operation, swooped down on Wallis’s Lodge residence on April 18 and carried out a search on the property. They allegedly found four clear plastic bags with the cannabis inside.
Under caution, Wallis allegedly told the ranks, “I just keeping this weed for a man in Linden Town Week”.
The prosecutor objected to bail by citing the seriousness of the offence, and Wallis was remanded to prison until May 18.
