West Demerara took first strike after winning the toss and were dismissed for 107 in 44. 5 overs as Sinclair made hey as the sun shined to capture 3-14. He was well

supported by Kristoff Williams, who bagged 2-25.

Christopher Gurdyal and Nicholas Holder were the joint top scorers for the West side team, but their efforts proved insignificant in the important clash. Kemar Ferera made 16.

In reply, the talented skipper and national youth player, Anderson finished unbeaten on 44 as he saw his team to final honours. Justin Gonin hit 21 to support his captain.

Bowling for West Demerara, Aftab Basir 2-29 from seven overs was effective in his spell but it was not substantial enough to cause the team from the Ancient County much harm.
