Machine operator remanded on felonious wounding charge
A Lindener was on Monday remanded to prison by Magistrate Wanda Fortune on a charge of felonious wounding.
The accused, Keith Abrams, 62, of Lot 9 Rainbow City, McKenzie, Linden, was not required to plead to the indictable charge when it was read to him during a virtual court appearance at the Linden Magistrate’ Court.
Abrams, who is an excavator operator, was arrested and charged for the stabbing of another man in Linden on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
The victim is presently hospitalised with an injury to his upper thigh in the vicinity of his groin. The matter was adjourned for August 17, 2020.
