Magnum powering Linden basketball

ANSAMcAL through its Magnum Tonic Brand have partnered with the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) for their new season of basketball which is themed, ‘Reload Basketball Meet Fashion.’
The new season will tip-off on Saturday and the stars will be out at the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court from 19.00h.
With a blend of fashion to go with a Georgetown versus Linden basketball matchup where National Club Champions Bounty Colts, just off a two-point victory comes up against Linden’s best Victory Valley Royals in what will be the night cap where another clash featuring the upcoming basketball stars of Linden square-off in an East against West game to go with the fashion displays.

The McKenzie Sports Club court will come alive this Saturday with some intense basketball action

According to the LABA president Lawrence Simon the rain prevented the show to hit the bright spot that evening even though top national field athlete Chantobra Bright appeared as a model and brightened things after the event was badly affected by persistent rain. He said however, there is an interest for the event to be reloaded and as such they are giving the fashion and basketball lovers to see a night where they will meet some of the start sports persons on the basketball court.
Bright will be on show again as the sports stars will be out to see the fashion displays on a night when basketball and fashion will converge at the MSC hard court.
Top Linden designers Crystal Lam and Setra O’selmo and will present several displays to whet the appetite of those who love fashion and the designs should be attractive enough to cause some ooohs and aahs when the promotion takes place this Saturday.
The basketball aspect will be the main attraction with the West seeking to get the better of their East rivals this time and a specially arranged 3 on 3 girls matches will also be part of the night’s card which will culminate with the heated Georgetown versus Linden basketball clash.
Several athletes and sports persons will also find themselves on the basketball court and as they will be recognised for their outstanding performances over the last year in their various field of endeavors.
