A 46-year-old man convicted of raping a teen girl has been remanded to prison pending sentencing, which has been deferred to June 9.
Clincy David was found unanimously guilty on two counts of rape following a trial before Justice Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Demerara Sexual Offences Court.
David first raped the girl on April 8, 2020. He committed the act three months later on July 13, 2020. The offences occurred at a house located in the county of Demerara.
