Man gets bail for threatening language

A Linden man who was on Tuesday charged with two counts of making use of threatening language was granted bail by Magistrate Wanda Fortune when he appeared at the Linden Magistrates’ Court.
The accused, 39-year-old Orlando Forde of Lot 19 Industrial Area, Mackenzie, Linden was granted bail in the sum of $20,000 after he pleaded not guilty to the two charges.
It is alleged that he made use of threatening language towards Lex Lewis and Stacy Lewis on August 26, 2019.
While Prosecutor Vernetté Pindar did not object to bail, she urged that the accused be placed on a bond to keep the peace. He is scheduled to return to court on October 10.
