Man slapped with 2 counts of threatening language

Randy Augustin was on Tuesday arraigned before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly, charged with two counts of using threatening language. He denied both of the charges when they were read to him.
The Police contend that on August 15, 2018, while in the vicinity of Stabroek Market, Georgetown, Augustin made used of threatening language towards Nicketa Harris.
It is also alleged that on the same day in question, while at Brickdam, Georgetown, Augustin threatened Jermaine Wilson.
Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh did not object to Augustin being placed on bail, thus he was placed on bail in the sum of $10,000 on each charge, and the matter has been slated to continue on September 15, 2018.
