Massy extends international Oreo promotion to Guyana

Just weeks after Oreo launched its new, globally integrated marketing campaign, a local distributor of the internationally favoured cookie extended the promotion to the Guyanese market.
Massy Distributions has announced that local consumers can now try their hands at winning a VIP Dunking Experience for two, including a chance to meet and dunk with one of two global superstars.
With the purchase of Oreo’s newly-introduced cookies & cream or regular Oreo marked Oreo Dunk Challenge, consumers have a chance to journey to one of two destinations to meet singer Christina Aguilera in Los Angeles or football legend Neymar Jr, in Barcelona, Spain. Also up for grabs are consolation prizes which include a number of electronic tablets, dinner for 4, gift cards and calling cards.

The launch of the Oreo promotion in Guyana

The goal of the Oreo Dunk Challenge is to inspire fans around the world to dunk Oreo biscuits in milk to reconnect with their inner child.
“The Oreo brand sees the world with childlike wonder and its signature dunk ritual is the purest articulation of that vision,” said Oreo Global Brand Director Justin Parnell. “We believe that when you dunk an Oreo biscuit in milk, you’re releasing a bit of childlike wonder from within, and it’s those types of moments that our brand was built on. We’re thrilled to inspire fans to dunk Oreo biscuits on a global scale, thereby inspiring more moments of play and wonder in the world.”
As such, consumers can now enjoy their favourite snack while gaining the opportunity to win themselves a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Once consumers purchase the specially marked single packet, they can go online to www.oreochallenge.com to register, and then enter the code at the back of the packet.
Each single pack of Oreo cookies has a different code.
The promotion is open to legal residents in Guyana who must be 18 years and older.
The winner must present their packet with the winning code to claim their prize. This promotion will wrap up on July 31, 2017.
