Matches set for Berbice & EBFA this weekend

GFF-NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power U-17 League…

The Essequibo FA concluded their leg of the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power U-17 Intra Association League on Sunday last at the Imam Bacchus Cricket Ground, where Henrietta United defeated Dartmouth Determinators in the final.
Action is set to continue in two other regional member associations (RMA) tomorrow.

The prolonged inclement weather had placed a damper on matches being played in all RMAs, but with a change in this situation, the respective associations still to complete will be getting busy in that regard.
All the matches in Berbice are set for play at the Esplanade Park, while the East Bank FA clubs will tangle at the GFF Training Facility at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
The first match in the Berbice league will kick-off with Cougars FC taking on Arsenal FC in a scintillating encounter from 13:00 hrs.
The action in the East Bank section of the league will feature five matches.
The first encounter will see Herstelling Raiders taking on Timehri ‘B’ from 08:00 hrs, while Timehri ‘A’ will clash with Soesdyke Falcons at 10:00 hrs. Samatta Point/ Kaneville will then come up against Grove Hi Tech at 12:00 hrs, while the final two matches will see Friendship All-Stars duking it out with Diamond United at 14:00 hrs, and Agricola Red Triangle tackling Mocha Champs at 16:00 hrs.
On Sunday, the Berbice leg will continue with one match. New Amsterdam United will battle Monedderlust at 13:00 hrs. In the East Bank leg, Mocha Champs will attempt to overthrow Diamond United at 08:00 hrs, while Timehri Panthers A will take on Timehri Panthers B at 10:00 hrs.
The final three fixtures of the day will see Soesdyke Falcons thrashing it out with Swan at 12:00 hrs, Herstelling Raiders taking on Grove Hi Tech at 14:00 hrs, and Samatta Point/Kaneville closing the afternoon off with a match against the Friendship All Stars from 16:00 hrs.
