The Mayor of Georgetown, Pandit Ubraj Narine is under investigation after he allegedly fired his gun indiscriminately during an alleged domestic dispute.

Reports are that the Mayor and his wife were allegedly involved in a heated confrontation in their yard when neighbours called the Police and reported that he fired off his gun several times.
This newspaper has since confirmed that the Police have since seized the firearm for ballistic testing and the Mayor’s hands have been swabbed for gunpower residue.
Police have also confirmed that the Mayor has since been released on $20,000 station bail pending investigation.
